Sourdough Workshop

All the basics for making and baking bread at home.

This course is for all bread enthusiasts that want to know how to bake bread at home or want to improve their home baking skills. In the midst of our bakery we will guide you in making and baking your own loaf of bread.

During the three-hour workshop you will learn the process step by step; weighing, mixing, folding, shaping, scoring and baking. Workshops are given for small groups, with a maximum of 8 people, leaving plenty of room for questions. By the end of the workshop you will have a solid foundation for baking your own bread.

You will go home with:

• Basic information on sourdough bread + recipe for one sourdough loaf

• Basic knowledge on how to make and bake your own bread  

• Baked loaf of bread + a fougasse loaf

• An unbaked loaf to be baked at home the next day

• Levain et le vin starter + explanation on how to maintain a starter

• A banneton with cloth

• Levain et le vin scraper

• A razor knife for cutting your bread
