Our rye bread is made from 40% rye flour and 60% organic Dutch white flour, water, our sourdough starter and salt. It is then rolled in a mixture of sesame seeds, poppy seeds, linseeds, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds and ferments for 24 to 48 hours before being baked. 

Minimum order of 6 pieces

Please keep in mind, you can place an order with a minimum of three days in advance. 


Orders can be picked up at our bakery in Amsterdam.

Please pick up your order at the chosen date and time at our bakery in Amsterdam. For custom orders we can arrange delivery.

Handmade at Levain et le Vin in Amsterdam

Levain et le vin is a sourdough bakery and natural wineshop. Every day we bake fresh sourdough bread and a range of pastries. We don’t bake with yeast but only with our natural sourdough starter and we let the bread proof for 24-48 hours.

Next to the bread and wine we have high quality coffee and everyday a different sandwich. You can also find books and épicerie products like eggs, butter, sausages and vinegar.

At levain et le vin our main focus is to work with only the best products we can get and as local as possible.
